Changing the currency format in Windows Control Panel

Instant Invoice n Cashbook uses the currency and numeric format as specified in your Windows Control Panel. If it is not displayed correctly, you can change it as follows :

Procedure For Windows 7

1. Click Start | Control Panel
2. Click Clock, Language and Region
3. Click “Change the date time or number format. ”
4. On the “Format” page of the “Region and Language” dialog”, click the [Additional Settings] button.
5. Click on the “Currency” page and amend the “Currency” format according to your needs. See tip below

NOTE for Windows 7 users, if you tried the above and the currencty format does not change permanantly. Change the “Format” setting to anything else like “English (United States) etc”, click [Apply]. Now change it back to your desired locale. This forces Windows 7 to save the currency format such that our app can retrieve it. This step is NOT needed in Vista or XP

Windows Vista

1. Click Start | Control Panel
2. Click Clock, Language and Region
3. Click Change the Date, Time or Number Format
4. At the Regional and Language Options, click [Customize This Format] button
5. Click on the “Currency” page. Amend the currency format to the symbol as required.
6. Click on Apply and OK

Windows XP

1. Click Start | Control Panel
2. Click Date, Time, Language and Regional Options
3. Click Change teh format of numbers, Date and Time
4. At the Regional Options page, click the [Customize] button
5. Clic on the Currency page. Amend the currency format to the symbol as required.
6. Click on Apply and OK
